** Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea **
Rescue Story
: Jinok was found on a street in Paju, South Korea at just two months old and taken to a high-risk shelter along with her five siblings. Right before euthanasia, they were saved by HDS Rescue, and later on, three of her siblings found their homes, while Jinok is still searching for her forever home. Jinok was lucky to have an opportunity to live in a foster home for about a year and a half from her puppyhood until Dec 2022 when she turned two. Since then, she has been living with numerous dogs in the crowded shelter, where there cannot be undivided love for her. Jinok still remembers how nice and lovely to have her home is. We hope she doesn’t forget that and gets another chance to live in a loving home again but permanently this time.
Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Gentle
Jinok is super friendly and full of sweetness! She thrives on love and affection, making her the perfect fit for anyone seeking a loyal and lovely fur soulmate. She would do better in a home with another furry companion.
With Cats
: Gentle with kitties
With Dogs
: She does well with other dogs. She was sent to a daycare regularly during the foster period, so she learned manners and how to socialize.
With Adults/Kids
: Good with adults including men / Unknown for kids
Shedding
: 5-7
Food Allergies
: She may be a little allergic to chicken and grain according to her previous foster family, but this needs to be confirmed by a vet later.
Walking Manner
: Mostly gentle on a walk but gets excited about birds and other doggies.
Housetrained
: fully housebroken, going potty indoors (pee-pads) & outdoors whenever she was in the foster home.
Bathing/Brushing
: very good
Separation Anxiety
: She tends to have mild separation anxiety due to strong attachment to her people, so having another furry companion in a home would be beneficial for her to feel more comfortable and secure.
Bark or Howl
: No.
Like & Dislike
: One of her favorite things is just to be around her people, which is well known among the shelter staff and volunteers! Plus, she likes playing with balls! / She is not a fan of being left alone.
Health
: very healthy!
