My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bowser!

A 7-year-old American Pitbull Terrier residing in Staten Island, NY. This spirited pup is a bundle of energy and affection, always ready for playtime or snuggles on the couch!

He's a quick learner, responding to commands like sit, stay, go, drop it, leave it, fetch, back up, and no with ease. Despite his aversion to rainy days, Bowser loves spending time outdoors and enjoys a good game of fetch!

Bowser exhibits some dog aggression, though he's been known to get along well with an older female pit companion in his household. However, he's never displayed any aggression towards people and adores both adults and children. While his enthusiasm for play is boundless, homes with very young children may not be suitable due to his size and strength.

Bowser's vigilant nature makes him an excellent watchdog, always on alert for any sign of trouble. Though he'll dutifully guard the house, his friendly demeanor means he may not be the most effective deterrent against intruders. He forms strong bonds with women but may be a bit shy around men.

Fully house-trained, vaccinated, and neutered, Bowser's favorite pastimes include playing with chew toys, bones, and ropes, as well as cuddling up next to his favorite humans for a movie night. He's a Velcro dog through and through, preferring to be by your side rather than play alone.

When considering a new home for Bowser, ample space for play or a commitment to regular exercise is essential. Homes without other pets or very young children would be ideal, ensuring Bowser's happiness and safety.
