My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cat!

Cat is the ultimate diva of the feline world! This 12 years young gal is looking for a home where she will be treated like royalty, and given all the pampering she desires 👑

Cat is quite the beauty and she's sure to brighten anyones day with that grogeous green-eyed gaze of hers 😍 Cat absolutely loves lounging in sunbeams, being showered with pets, and having her very own special spot on the couch.

This pampered princess enjoys only the finest of treats and toys, and knows that she deserves the very best from her humans 😼 Cat is not afraid to express her opinions and she'll let you know exactly what she wants, be it more snacks, a longer cuddle session, or just some quiet time to nap in peace. #divamode

If you are looking for a super senior feline, Cat may be just the gal for you! Submit an application today and be prepared to be enchanted by all Cat's charm 👇

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
