My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gretel is a magnificent cat!  She is so affectionate on her terms.  She will initiate affection and loves to snuggle but if you go pick her up, she will not snuggle.  She loves to play with balls, kitty toys and feathers.  She is more independent in her playing, and she is smaller for her age so prefers to self-entertain with toys than play with other cats who get too rough.  She tolerates cats and dogs that are respectful. She loves to snuggle in bed and will floof blankets or clothing to make the perfect nest.  She is an extraordinary cat.  She has had a history of upper respiratory infection so if she gets snuffly, please reach out to the rescue group for support.  She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested.  If you are interested in the sweetest girl, please reach out to her foster mom by text message at 602-791-9874.

More about this rescue

Living The Dream Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue that pulls animals from the euthanasia lists at various high kill shelters in Maricopa County and surrounding areas. Maricopa County has the highest euthanasia rate in Arizona. Additionally, we assist with public intake and hoarding situations. All animals are fostered in homes with loving families until adopted.
