My name is Smokey. I've had a bit of a hard luck life on the streets and to almost quote the Hustle & Flow song that won an Academy Award "It's hard out here for a cat, trying to make your money for the rent". I was injured by a bully from the next block over but then I was rescued by an angel, my foster human, Cyndi. She got me stitched up, brought me into a nice house with great food and soft beds, and took me to another doctor where I was "FIXED" I'm not sure what that means but I seem to have lost something in the process. But now it's time for my forever home...which means FOREVER. If you want a fighter turned lover..who's also VERY HANDSOME. I'm your guy.

Our process generally starts with an application for a dog or cat. Once we have reviewed your application, we arrange a time that works for you to come out and see the animal you are interested in. If it's a match, you will fill out an adoption contract and then you'll receive medical records, your pet's microchip information, their certificate of spay/neutering, rabies certificate and, finally, your new animal companion. Our adoption fee goes toward the animal's spay/neuter procedure, vaccinations, microchipping, de-worming, and flea and tick treatment.
