This gentle giant does not realize that he is too big for the average lap! He loves to find creative ways to curl up so that he can fit his floofy body into your lap! You might have a tough time getting him out of your lap when it’s time to get up. He also loves to purr when he sees his favorite humans or his favorite foods. This mellow, loving boy is looking for humans that love to cuddle and give pets! Why not say hello in person? If you are interested in adopting from OAR, just fill out a questionnaire at www.ohioalleycat.org/adopt (don't worry, it's quick and easy). Thank you!
Pyrite has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and must live as an only cat or with other FeLV+ cats. FeLV+ cats can live with dogs and other animals. OAR will cover this cat’s medical care related to FeLV (contact us for details)...
Interested in adopting? Questions about this cat? Please submit an Adoption Questionnaire at www.ohioalleycat.org/adopt. You are also welcome to visit OAR's Adoption Center during Open Adoption Hours, which are listed on the questionnaire (no appointment needed).
The adoption fee for this cat is $65, which helps pay for their medical and daily care expenses. If you adopt a second cat of any age within 90 days, there is no additional adoption fee.
Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of cats and communities in Greater Cincinnati. We promote humane, non-lethal methods of reducing the feral cat population. This includes advising people about Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and loaning humane traps. Our clinic offers low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for ferals, strays, and pets. We also run a no-kill rescue that finds loving homes for cats and kittens.
