Georgie has a sad past. We don't know his exact story but he was found alone on a hillside in Mexico fending for himself during the recent flooding. A kind human built him a makeshift shelter but couldn't take him in. She reached out to us for help and with a little Devine intervention we found a wonderful foster. We believe he is about 9-10 years old but still pretty spry and will chase a ball like nobody's business. He is the typical older lab, likes head scritches, belly rubs, tasty treats and a soft dog bed. His present is good, but we are looking for that forever home that will make his future GREAT. Georgie is up to date on vaccines, neutered, has a microchip and is current on flea/tick prevention.

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.

Amazing Strays Rescue knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2018, realized that by working with Shelters we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Amazing Strays Rescue.
