Meet Cute Pebbles! Pebbles is about 13 weeks old and weighs around 12 pounds. We think Pebbles looks like a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Terrier Mix (just a guess). Pebbles loves to spend the day wrestling with her brother, Bam Bam. Pebbles loves to play, play, play with all the dogs in her foster home, including her 3 older and much larger foster sisters! She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly when she realizes you want to give her snuggles or run around and play with her. She loves running through the grass and chasing the bigger dogs in the foster home. Pebbles is working on her house and crate training. Because of her playful nature, her forever home must have another playful dog in the home to keep her company and help her build her confidence! Baby puppies will require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions!
This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00.
***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old***
***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue***
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal.

Canines & Kitties Rescue is an animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned dogs, puppies, cats and kittens at risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to rescue animals from local and out of state open-admission, high-intake shelters. Our volunteers are experienced in animal care, proper placement and provide assistance to our animals throughout the foster journey, adoption process and beyond. All animals are cared for in our network of volunteer foster homes.
Our volunteer rescuers work with local veterinarians, foster homes, and trainers to provide foster based homes, medical care and training for our animals until she/he is placed in a loving, carefully screened new home. We are dedicated to helping dogs and cats of all breeds and ages including the older, sick, and injured animals as well as the readily adoptable. We have a special spot in our hearts for pregnant unwanted animals and strive to find them a safe foster home to birth and raise their young. We are advocates for spay and neuter and that each animal we rescue will be spayed and neutered at an appropriate age.
