Juniper will be available to meet and potentially adopt (pending foster's availability) on Saturdays starting Saturday, April 27th at our PetSmart location (857 N Val Vista Dr, #106, Gilbert AZ 85234) until adopted. The adoption event starts at Noon and goes until 3:00pm.

You canâ€™t help yourself, you fall in love instantly with Juniper! Her face will melt your heart. Once she feels safe she is the sweetest little bundle of love. Sheâ€™s playful, spunky, curious and a bit of an adventurer. Sheâ€™s becoming a social butterfly although sheâ€™s still fearful of new people. She LOVES smaller dogs. Juniper needs a very patient person who will devote countless hours to rubbing her belly and brushing her luxurious locks. A home with another smaller dog would be good for Juniper although she would do well as an only dog. Sheâ€™s good on a leash for short walks and enjoys walks in her chariotâ€¦stroller.

More about this rescue

The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.

In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:

Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.

Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.

Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.

Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
