My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable girl is Lara. She is a very sweet and friendly 2 1/2-year-old pure bred Jack Russell terrier. Lara is a very playful, happy gal who loves retrieving tennis balls; then will snuggle with you to watch a movie. She would be comfortable with a family that will include her in their adventures...children 10+ ok. Prior experience with the breed preferred.
For more information about Lara or any other amazing dogs available for adoption, please email: paula@floridahumanesociety.org.
Shelter hours are Thursday to Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m. All canines are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. Adopters should live in Broward or Palm Beach counties. Free training is included with all dog adoptions.
