My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a lovely adult dog looking for someone to love. She has been around dogs and children previously and seems kind. Mia was surrendered to KHS because her owner could not secure pet-friendly housing. She is a perfect blend of medium-large size and does well on a leash. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots.

I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.

The KHS adoption fee typically range from $65 to $135 for cats and kittens and $85 to $400 for dogs and puppies (plus an additional $10.50 for any applicable licensing fees) and includes:
- Spaying/neutering
- Vaccinations
- Microchipping (we also register the chip for you!)
- Over $125 in KHS gift certificates
