This helps Wolf Trap Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Look at this face! How can you not immediately fall in love with this cute pup! At 4-months, she is already showing just how smart, curious and fun-loving she is. She will run after a tug, pick it up and then lose focus before she makes it back to you (lol). My young adult son had fallen in love with this girl in less than 2 days flat! If we didn’t already have 3 permanent pets, it would be hard to convince our family not to adopt and keep her.
She loves to play and wrestle with her litter mate and if at all possible, we would love for both to go to the same home so she can continue to pal around with her side-kick sister. But if not, that’s ok. She is independent and will quickly make friends anywhere. This pup would do well with a young adult to show her the ropes and wear her out!
She and her litter mate share a crate and sleep all night long. They have not had any accidents in the crate. We have been working on house breaking by taking them out every 2 hours or so and they do best when they go out with our 2-year old because they watch her and do their bathroom business. Of course, leash training will take time and patience. Right now it’s just something for them to chew and tug on with each other.
This pup is most likely a mix of Lab and a hound — she has a sweet, blood-hound shape face, short hair and big paws. If you a looking for unconditional love, this pup will give it to you without hesitation!
