What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We joke that Zoey, 7, is a cat on the inside. She loves to nap in the sunlight, cuddle close, doesnt need the most pets and hates water. Favorite day would be napping undisturbed with a bone for chewing and abundant meals.
She is perfect for a home that wants an older dog but does not contain other animals or children. She is a great companion and will be very vocal about when she is hungry or needs the bathroom. She will refuse to potty inside no matter how long. Last shots in 2022.
The main concern to note is that she does not like other dogs. Not even a little. She will snarl and be aggressive with them if they are within a 10 foot radius of her. With children she is fine enough, but will growl if jostled too much. She's really all talk though then. The only time to be cautious is with food and bones. She is a shy dog with noticeable anxiety, but loving when shes warmed up. She needs some patience u til she's comfortable and trusts you. Rehoming due to now having an infant.
