Hi there! I'm Hoover, a spirited young pup with a heart as big as my paws. At just around 7-10 months old, I'm still discovering the world with boundless energy and an insatiable curiosity. They say I'm likely a mix of Cane Corso and Mastiff, which explains my impressive size and sturdy build.
My journey hasn't been all sunshine and bones though. I used to spend nearly every moment chained up in a front yard across from an elementary school, longing to join in the laughter and games of the children. But fate had other plans for me. One day, I mustered the courage to break free from my chains and wandered over to the schoolyard, hoping for a taste of the fun. Unfortunately, my size frightened some of the kids, and animal control was called to intervene. That led me to the shelter on April 17, 2024.
Despite my rocky start, life at the shelter has been a real tail-wagger. I've discovered the joy of long walks, the bliss of a good grooming session, and the comfort of regular vaccinations. And let's not forget the food-I'm a big fan! But what truly makes my tail wag is the love and attention I receive from the shelter staff and visitors alike.
Now, I'm on the lookout for my forever family. If you're seeking a lovable giant who's still growing into his paws, look no further! I'm hoping to find a home with older children who will join me in playtime and adventures. So, if you're ready for a lifetime of love and laughter, come on down to the shelter and spend some time with me. I promise, you won't regret it!
