My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Susie: A Senior Dog with a Heart Full of Wisdom and Love

Introducing Susie, a remarkable senior dog who carries the unfortunate title of matriarch from a hoarding situation. Susie`s journey has been challenging, and as a result, she is undersocialized. However, her resilient spirit and the depth of her love and wisdom shine through, making her an incredible companion for the right person or family.

Susie is a beautiful senior dog with a gentle and soulful gaze. Her wise eyes tell stories of a life long-lived. Though she may bear the marks of her past, her spirit remains resilient and full of love.

Susie`s years of neglectful experiences have somehow shaped her into a dog with a heart full of wisdom and trepidation. While undersocialized, she possesses an innate gentleness and loyalty that endears her to those who take the time to understand her. Susie longs for a calm and patient environment where she can finally relax and enjoy the love and care she deserves.

Susie`s undersocialization will require patient and compassionate training. Slow exposure to new experiences, people, and other animals, combined with positive reinforcement, will help her overcome her anxieties and build trust. With time, Susie`s capacity for love and connection will shine through, rewarding her adopter with a deep and unbreakable bond.

Ideal Home:
Susie would thrive in a quiet and understanding home environment. An adopter who can provide a calm and nurturing atmosphere, free from loud noises or chaotic energy, will allow Susie to feel secure and loved. A home with older, considerate children or adults who understand her need for patience and space would be ideal.

Commitment:
Adopting Susie requires a special commitment to providing her with the love, patience, and care she needs in her golden years. A gentle and compassionate owner who can offer stability, routine, and a comfortable environment will be rewarded with Susie`s unwavering loyalty and a lifetime of companionship. Regular veterinary check-ups, proper nutrition, and gentle exercise will ensure her well-being as she enjoys her senior years.

If you are ready to offer Susie the peaceful and loving retirement she deserves, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can help Susie rediscover the joys of life and provide her with the comfort and love she craves.
