Greetings! My name is Chauncey. I'm a playful 10-month-old pup, but don't let my age fool you. I'm a compact edition, weighing in at a petite 22 lbs. My foster mom sometimes calls me "Boots" because of my cute, fancy white boots that make me stand out in the crowd!
Just like any young'un, I'm full of energy and love to play, especially fetch - it's my favorite game! But don't worry, I'm not all about play. I'm also a big fan of following my foster mom around the house, always curious about what she's up to. I do enjoy the company of other dogs and a good play date in the yard, though I might be a bit shy and uncertain when meeting new furry friends for the first time.
Now let's talk about my living arrangements. I'm very fond of my crate, it's my safe space and I love it. However, if you leave me alone without my pack, I might have a word or two with management about it (I've been known to throw a bark or two in protest). I'm working hard on my potty training and I'm almost there, promise!
I'm a friendly fellow with a heart full of love for kids. They might be a bit overwhelming at first, but I warm up pretty quickly. After all, I'm a very loving and affectionate soul that craves for some love after being alone in the shelter. I would absolutely adore a home with a yard where I can run, play, and explore to my heart's content.
I'm a well-behaved young lad, always coming when called by my foster mom and cannot hide my excitement with my tail (sometimes mom thinks I will fly up from excitement, with my cute propeller attachment). I still have a lot to learn about life, but I'm eager and ready. I might be small in size, but I promise to fill your life with immense joy and love. So how about taking a chance on Chauncey? Come meet me and see how special I am!
