My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pax is an eleven year old Border Collie that was adopted from our facility over ten years ago. Unfortunately, he was picked up as a stray and we were thrilled to find a microchip on our ol' man and to see that he was JTAC alumni. Sadly, we weren't able to make contact with his previous adopters, despite phone calls and a notice mailed. With senior animals, we have to take extra precaution because we are usually unaware of their true health status. Thanks to the JJC Vet Tech Program, they were able to do xrays and bloodwork on him. Our vet gave him the clearance to go up for adoption so he is now looking to find his last home to spend his golden years in. Although Pax is an old man, he has PLENTY of pep left and loves to play. Toys, tennis balls, and treats are his favorite and he has no issue working for them. He loves to play fetch and can chase a ball from sun up to sun down. He loves to sit, lay down, give paw, and occasionally bark on command for his treats. He would do great as the only pet so he is looking to be your one and only. If you have a soft spot for senior dogs, Pax is your guy! His adoption fee is $90, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm test, heartworm/flea prevention, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed!
