My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Bear Bennett. I’m a 4-5-year-old lab mix with much love to give. I love spending time with my 2-leggeds, and I follow them everywhere, so they have nicknamed me Velcro. When my foster Mom is working, I lay by her feet. I enjoy playing with all the other dogs in my foster home. I met some chickens, and I think they’re pretty cool, but I keep to myself. But my foster mom says I am a little too interested in cats.

When asked, I know how to ‘sit’ and ‘lay down’. My favorite hobby is going for walks with my foster mom and dad. When they take out my leash, I get excited, so I hop around and show them my pearly whites with a huge smile! I also love to hug and cuddle with my foster peeps. They think I’m very entertaining and cute as a button. I also enjoy going for car rides. I am very good at sharing my toys and food, too.

I don’t like to go into a crate, but the good news is that I don’t need one because I’m completely house-trained and never get into any mischief.

My foster mom says I would do best in a chill home either with another dog or I can be the king of my castle. If you’re looking for a new best friend who will give you unconditional love, look no further.

Additional adoption info

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on https://angelsrescue.org/
Your application will be assigned to a volunteer on our adoption team who will contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
