My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

0324044 - Hello! My name is Pau and I am the happiest, most playful, sweetest and cuddliest puppy you’ll ever want. If you want to start your day off with a smile then I am your puppy. I will greet you with so many puppy kisses and a wagging tail that will make you grin from ear-to-ear. I have the most positive attitude and can’t wait to get each day started, because each day is a new adventure.

My favorite things to do are go for walks, eat, and play, play, play! By the end of the day I am so exhausted from my many adventures that I will sleep through the night, but when the sun comes up it’s time for new adventures.

My foster parents just adore me! They say that I bring them so much happiness and laughter. I have a serious-looking face, because I am always observing everything around me. There is so much to see and experience. I love my new life. A month ago, life was so scary. My sister and I were taken to this scary shelter. We didn’t have much food, and definitely we weren’t loved. Now that I am in Colorado life is so amazingly good… lots of food and love!

I currently live in my foster home with three other dogs:  a Chihuahua mix, a medium Shepherd mix, and a large Pitbull mix. I also live with my puppy sister. I love them all. I also love my foster mommy and daddy.

If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! I have so much love to give and would love to be a part of your family.

More about this rescue

Sloppy Kisses Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based organization that was founded in 2018 by a group of animal advocates in Colorado. It was formed to rescue as many stray and homeless animals as possible by partnering with shelters in areas that are inundated with stray and relinquished animals. Sloppy Kisses Animal Rescue works to transport the animals to Colorado, fosters them in temporary homes, provides for their medical needs, brings them up to date on vaccinations, spay/neuters them if they aren’t already, and adopts them to permanent homes. This is accomplished through working with a network of volunteers, foster caregivers, local veterinarians, animal trainers, and donations!

We also work with our local community to provide assistance with re-homing pets and providing resources such as behavioral and medial to people who are considering surrendering their pet in an effort to keep pets in their homes and out of the shelter system.
