My name is Dane!

We rescued Dane as a stray when he was around 5 years old. Over the past 5 years, he has grown to love couch potato life. He is a senior dog who is a gentle giant. He is house trained and accustomed to being indoors like he's part of the family. He's so good with other animals that our cat almost have birth on him.
He doesn't eat shoes or tear up furniture, but if you drop food on the floor he will run like you've never seen a fat dog run to eat what you've dropped. He is great on a leash and loves kids.
It breaks my heart to have to rehome him. Our landlord has implemented new rules forcing me into this decision.
He doesn't bark much, so when he does it can be a bit loud and startling, but it's usually for a good reason (like a break-in at 2am).
No real health conserns other than itchy skin in the summer that clears up with Oatmeal shampoo.
