Nina is a social butterfly who has never met a stranger! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a big smile, always ready to make new friends. Her love for human companionship knows no bounds, and she's particularly fond of giving hugs to those she adores.
With medium to low energy, Nina enjoys leisurely strolls and relaxed play sessions. However, she may get a bit excited and pull on the leash at times, especially when she's eager to explore new scents and sights.

Fill out a Meet Your Match questionnaire, spend some time getting to know the pet you are considering taking home, and talk to an adoption counselor.
Each animal will leave the Center spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm (dogs) or FeLV/FIV (cats) tested, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, given heartworm preventative if applicable and microchipped.

McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, TN, first opened its doors to the city’s homeless pets in July 2008. A leader in animal welfare both locally and nationally, the nonprofit shelter’s mission is to enhance the lives of companion animals and people by encouraging a culture of responsibility and compassion. As an open admission facility, the Center provides animal services and care for any animal in the city of Chattanooga regardless of age, breed, health, and temperament. McKamey has a number of thriving programs to benefit companion animals and people including adoption, foster, rescue, trap-neuter-return for feral cats, and humane education.
