If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I helped move a friend of mine and her cat from Indiana to live with me in Texas. She decided to leave and abandoned her cat. He has scratched and bitten my toddler and dog multiple times. I am not sure how to correct this behavior as all attempts have failed without his owner here to keep an eye on him and my schedule I am unable to care for him. I tried taking him to a no kill shelter but they will not take him due to his aggression and age.
I do not want to take him where I know he will be put down for those reasons. He’s otherwise a good cat very cuddly when he wants to be.
I’m not sure how he is with other cats.
He would be great as an only pet. He’s fine with my older kids.
I was told he was adopted 10 years ago and is about 13 years old. He has no health issues. I know someone out there could give this sweet Senior kitty a loving home. I will include all food we have for him, litter box, scratchers, and his carrier.
