My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Birdie!! I'm not your average canine; I'm a real head-turner with my brown and tan coat accented by a striking white brindle pattern. When I strut my stuff, heads turn, and tails wag in admiration. But it's not just my looks that make me stand out; it's my personality that steals the show.

I'm a social butterfly through and through. Whether it's with my fellow four-legged pals or my human companions, I'm always down for a good time. And when it comes to playtime, I've got some signature moves that'll have you rolling with laughter. You see, when I engage in a playful scuffle with another pup, I transform into a canine kangaroo, boxing with my head thrown back -- it's a sight to behold!

But don't let my playful antics fool you, when it's time for a stroll around the neighborhood, you won't find a better leash companion than me. I walk like a pro, making every outing a breeze. So, if you're looking for a furry friend who's equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, look no further! Come see me at the pet resource center (1312 Melissa Dr in Bentonville!)

Additional adoption info

We strive for an open adoption process that helps you find the right pet for your family. We have standard adoption fees, but offer frequent adoption promotions with reduced adoption fees. During the adoption process there is a brief consultation with our Adoption Specialist and a short contract to sign prior to finalizing the adoption. Best Friends commits to the pets for life and we will take back the pet if they can no longer be cared for in your family. Adopters must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet.
