My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is an incredibly intelligent, beautiful and loving dog. She is loyal and makes an excellent companion for car rides, long runs, and couch snuggles.
Unfortunately, Scout does have extreme reactivity to other dogs that has not resolved despite our best efforts and training. We have a baby and have been professionally advised that under no circumstances should we have her around our baby. We are heart broken and making every effort we can to save Scout’s life while also protecting our family.
We rescued Scout two years ago when she was ~1 year old. We had no history as her previous owner passed away. She was underweight, had hookworms and had not been spayed. We got her healthy and put her through training. She learns very quickly! She knows many commands, including sit, lay down, stay, up/down, off, paw (shake), back up, leave it, and more.
Scout would make an excellent pet for anyone with a yard and no other animals. She has proven to play well w/ older children.
