I adopted Thor and his littermate Loki from the humane society approximately 5 years ago. They were a bonded pair at that time. They got along well for about two years. Loki became exceptionally territorial. He fights ( not in a playful way) with Thor, and doesn’t want me to show any attention to Thor. In retaliation, Thor began urinating on the wall. I replaced that area with another litter box. He chose another wall, so there went another litter box. I took him to the vet who wanted to put him on Prozac. I’ve tried every possible way to give him the medication unsuccessfully. We are currently having our home renovated, and there is severe damage done because of Thor’s urine. I spoke with someone at the humane society today asking for advice, She suggested that Thor be rehomed. I am hoping that Thor might change his behavior with a new environment where he is the only cat. He is DECLAWED. So he cannot be an outdoor cat, or around any aggressive animal. He is very docile in nature.
