Joker is a 2 year old 30 pound Beagle mix. He has a beautiful shiny coat that is thicker than most Beagles. Joker does great with other dogs and would like a buddy in his home. He wants to please his people and is doing great at learning his basic commands. Joker loves having his belly rubbed. He has no concept of personal space, if he fits, he sits. Joker also likes to boop noses with his people. He is very food motivated.
Most Beagles think a walk is a sniffari. Their nose is to the ground the entire time sniffing. Joker will walk right beside his person at a pretty good pace and doesn’t need to stop and sniff every blade of grass, he likes to move. Joker also likes to play fetch. He thinks cats are great fun to chase. The cat at his foster home is not amused.
Joker might be part goat. This boy can jump. If he wants to go visit someone, he will jump a normal height chain link fence. He either needs a privacy fence or to be leash walked.
Joker is crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.

We require and adoption application that involves reference checks and vet checks. We require a home visit and an adoption contract. Our adoption fee is $200 for most dogs. Prior to adoption all of our dogs have all the vaccinations appropriate for their age, are spay/neutered if over 4 months old, microchipped and heartworm checked if over 12 months of age.

We are an all foster based organization to promote the general well-being of all breeds of dogs. We take in all breeds and ages of dogs, provide them healthcare and training and adopt them to screened applicants that will be their forever homes. We also promote training and education about dogs.
