We rescued Bret as a kitten almost three years ago after his mother abandoned her litter. He is friendly and affectionate in quiet moments, and has no history of aggression. He tends to be skittish and shy around new people and loud activity, but he loves to snuggle and relax with us when the atmosphere is calm.
We love Bret very much, but we and our vet believe he would be happier as a single pet. We have 5 other cats and a dog, and over a year ago Bret began urinating/marking outside of the litter box. His vet has ruled out illness and has diagnosed this behavior as psychological and possibly territorial. We believe Bret would thrive in a household where he could be the only cat. He’s a sweet guy with a lot of love to give!
