My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Binky is looking for a quiet household where he can be next to his human, cuddle, eat treats and get his back scratched!

Age: 13 years

Breed: Terrier/mix

Weight: ~20lbs

Kid-Friendly: Was said that he loves kids but h asn't met any kids since being in his foster home

Dogs:  He gets along with everyone

Cats:  Great with cats, even sleeps with one

Crate Trained: Barks at first.  He is only kenneled about 6 hours a week. He does go in it to nap sometimes, on his own, when his foster is home

Potty Trained: Getting there! It was said that  he used a potty pad, he's never used it at his foster home, he goes right next to it on the floor. He is wearing belly bands all the time, he goes outside 4 or 5 times during the day and is slowly learning to go outside

Stairs: He is currently having to use two stairs, he uses them but is careful about it

Health concerns/current medications:  He is getting a dental on February 14th. He needs eye medication twice a day in both eyes and will be on going, partially blind. P ruritus, f laky itchy skin

Adoption fee: $375

As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us.      Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.  Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation. Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days. Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!
