My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My mother took over caring for Max, a person couldn't take care of him. After a while, getting to really know his personality, she found that she wouldn't be able to keep him. My mother being older, required back surgery, knee replacements, and uses a walker daily. Max is too energetic for her to catch around the house and yard for her. Max is a small playful and loving dog that seeks attention. He's full of energy and always looking for another pet to play with. Max loves cuddles and gives kisses, welcomes tummy and head/ear scratches, and he is also light in weight. Our family has an older dog that doesn't like all the attention Max gives him, wanting to play and jump around him. Our dog loves to be alone and sleep most of the time, he doesn't want to play and gets upset with him. We don't want to see him hurt from the older dog, snapping at him. Squeaky toys are ideal and is around two years old.
