Here's what the humans have to say about me:
After she was hit by a car, Rosie sat at a local high-kill animal control without medical attention for weeks. When we pulled her, we learned that Rosie had numerous displaced fractures in her radius, ulna, pelvis, and hip socket. She underwent a challenging surgery followed a recovery that was long, painful, and complicated.
But as it turned out, Rosie is tough as nails and her sweet spirit never wavered. If it weren’t for the fading scars and a barely-there-limp, you’d never know how just how much trauma she endured. And now that she’s healthy, there’s only one thing left on Rosie’s to do list—winning you over!
Here’s everything you need to know about your future BFF:
- Despite all that she went through, Rosie is an absolute goofball with a heart of gold
- Voted best kisser on Fort Moore and not afraid to prove it
- Loves everyone she meets but has an extra special sweet spot for kiddos of all ages
- Is a sucker for attention and happiest when curled up next to you (as close as humanly possible, please)
- Other favorite things: her super soft dog bed, stealing her foster brothers’ super soft dog beds, building a pillow palace made of said super soft dog beds, annihilating chew toys, and making new friends in her neighborhood
- Crate-trained, house-trained, and getting better at that whole “leash” thing every day
- Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative
- Deserves the world and nothing less
