My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Onyx!  I cannot wait to meet you!  Guess what?  I was adopted in 2022 from a high kill shelter and I lived with my family and loved them very muchl but I cannot explain how this happened, but I wound up back at the same shelter again almost two years later. I dont know how my family did not come to pick me up, but I am now looking for my special home, where I will get to live and be loved for the rest of my life.  I know I should be sad, and upset, but instead, I want to keep my hopes and spirits up.  I dont want want to be sad, I just want to belong to a loving family that will never let me get lost, or give up on me.  I can promise you, that I will never give up on my family.  I love with all my soul and I am just waiting for the right people to find me and love me forever, and I will love you forever too.

More about this rescue

We named our rescue after my beloved Golden Retriever that passed away from Cancer at too young of an age. I had fostered for years, and Sandy was the ambassador and helper for all the animals that entered our home scared, confused and frightened. We are a team of animal lovers, dedicated to saving lives of animals that have been neglected, dumped and abandoned in high kill shelters.
This rescue strives to find the best homes, and also offer assistance even after the adoption.
