Tommy is a gentle soul that wants a family to love him and give him plenty of head and neck scratches. He loves Churrus and being brushed. He is laid back and has a calm temperament. He gets along with other cats and just keep to himself. He is neutered, vaccinated and litter trained. Come and sit with this sweet boy and see how fast he steals your heart!

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
