My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Grace and I’m ready to be your new best friend! I am full of energy and incredibly curious. I love to play outside, chew on everything I can get my teeth on, and cuddle on laps at the end of the night. I love hanging out with humans and fur animals alike. I get along with my dog foster sister and my cat foster brother!
Since I am so young, I am still potty training and crate training. But I am a quick learner! I will need a family who will be dedicated to training me and give me plenty of exercise. I also will need to continue to be socialized with other dogs, so I think I would like to attend a doggie daycare if I could. I am so ready to meet my new family.

She is looking for an active family who will take her on lots of walks and give her plenty of exercise. She loves taking walks and loves being out and about exploring the outside world!

She LOVES to be outside playing! She is looking for a family to give her a lot of fun adventures around the city!

She is working on potty trained, but will need consistency to continue her progress.

She is a smart girl and is showing progress each day learning a lot! She is working on her puppy commands and manners. She will need a patient, consistent family to continue her training.

She will ready for puppy classes when she is adopted. She is a very confident puppy and has a very strong willed personality, so she would do best with an experienced owner who is ready to have an awesome puppy in their lives!

We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes.

If you live an active lifestyle and are ready to bring this lovable girl into you home, please apply to meet her.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

PetPromise volunteers do their best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match. For that reason the adoption process may take several days to complete. We do our best to ensure that the adoption of the pet is "for life."

If you are interested in adopting a particular pet, please complete an online adoption application at http://petpromise.org/adoption-application. We conduct reference checks and require a home visit before any adoption. The adoption fee varies by pet.

More about this rescue

PetPromise is an Ohio 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.

PetPromise rescues animals from high-kill animal shelters and provides foster care, medical care, and rehabilitation to once homeless, neglected, or abused dogs and cats as well as adoption services so that these pets may find loving permanent homes.

Through our City Kitty Program, PetPromise works with feral cat caregivers to control feral cat populations in central Ohio through trap/neuter/return. , PetPromise provides rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and offers the use of humane traps when needed.

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship.

The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders along with a network of other people interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.
