My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what George's foster dad has to say about him...
Hello, my name is George!  I was taken to a groomer where I was shaved to almost had no hair except for my ears (burr!!!) and a bath. But my hair was matted, I had lots of fleas and ticks. No fleas and ticks anymore. I have been well taken care of. I’m feed twice a day and snacks. I get these frozen orange things that they call baby carrots. YUM!!!!    I have 2 - 4 legged friends I try to play with but they are older than me, so it is hard to get them to play with me because I get a little excited and start to play a little ruff. Get it RUFF. BOL(barking out loud). They took me to a man that checked me out and gave me a clean bill of health. He said I am about 9months to 1 and1/2 years old. He gave me shots and some pills to take for fleas, ticks and heart worms. What a nice man till the next time I saw him. He put me to sleep and I woke up with a chip and minus some parts, he called neutered.  I feel better now, I get to run in the backyard and smell all the smells. I am potty trained but every once in a while I have an accident were I poop on the floor. I get distracted from all the smells and things to do I forget why I went out in the first place. Oops, I am generally a good boy, I just don’t understand what blankets are for. I pull them down and they put them back. Fun game!!!! So I am looking for a forever home.
George is anywhere between 9m and 1.5 years according to our vet. He's fully vetted and ready for his new forever family. He's in a foster home in Memphis Tn. Once adopted, he will travel on rescue vet transport to his new forever family. They travel each and every weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning around 6 AM and making stops along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island delivering newly adopted pets. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make Jorge a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. As always, thank you for adopting your new family friend!
