My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucky, a friendly 1-year-old pup eagerly seeking his forever family. Currently weighing around 55lbs, Lucky is on a mission to bulk up with the support of his foster family. He's a social butterfly, thriving in the company of people and getting along famously with other dogs. While untested with cats, Lucky's calm demeanor suggests he could adapt smoothly. Fond of cuddles, he enjoys snoozing beside his foster while they work, relishing short walks and play sessions when the mood strikes. A seasoned traveler, Lucky rides like a champ in cars, never succumbing to motion sickness. He's mastering leash etiquette and cherishes moments spent close to his loved ones. With his youthful exuberance and affectionate nature, Lucky is eagerly awaiting a loving home to call his own, where he can bask in the care and companionship he deserves.

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
