My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- Big, handsome boy who can be shy at first and will need time to warm up to new people and a new environment; may be grumbly until he feels comfortable, and that's normal for him

- More of an independent cat, but his previous family said that once he has formed a bond with you, he enjoys being petted and sitting in your lap or near you when you're relaxing

- Loves sitting in windows and looking at the birds

- Enjoys wand toys, toys he can bat around, catnip and cat trees

- Will give head bumps and talk to you when he wants attention

- Has done OK with children in the past but does need time to warm up to them and may hide until he feels comfortable; may be happiest in a more mature home that's calm and quiet

- Has lived with other cats and has done well once he has time to warm up to them

- Previous family said he will tolerate dogs but is not a big fan

- Looking for someone who will give him extra time to settle in and understand that he values his personal space, especially when things and people are new; please plan on letting him go a pace he feels comfortable with as he's getting to know you and his new home
