My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Edie, a 10-year-old, 11-pound Cairn Terrier mix with a heart of gold. Despite being blind due to cataracts, Edie navigates her surroundings with grace, showcasing her intelligence and adaptability.

While Edie enjoys her beauty sleep during the day, she also relishes short walks outdoors. With consistent opportunities to go outside, she maintains her house-training impeccably.

When she's not exploring or catching some Z's, Edie loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch. Recently groomed, she received glowing feedback from the groomer, highlighting her gentle temperament.

Remarkably, Edie has yet to let out a bark in her foster home, embodying a serene presence that adds warmth to any environment.

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
