Thor, a young adult male shepherd.
Thor came into the shelter after being found in the middle of Othello. When he first came in we knew we were going to have to pull off a few ticks, little did we know we were sitting down to pull over 100 ticks off this poor boy. He was so lethargic at that point but we had to rule out the ticks before thinking he could be sick. After each tick we pulled we saw more & more life come into him. By the end of it, he went, picked up his ball and dropped it in my lap. I consider that the biggest thank you a dog could give.
He will NOT potty in his kennel, which makes me strongly believe he is potty trained. He’s pretty timid of new dogs but when introduced correctly & slowly he actually seems pretty fond of them. At least of Thunder *the pup below* and Butterscotch *our mama*. He loves his ball! I mean LOVES his ball. When I open his kennel, he runs out but will run right back in to get his ball. He wants to show it the world, lol. He loves walks but he will also come snuggle up anytime I’ve went to sit down with him. He gives really good snuggles by the way Dog rating scale, Thor is a 20/10! If you have a nice sized backyard or an active lifestyle, you should please consider adopting our sweet Thor boy
If think you are the perfect family home for me, my friends would love to hear from you. Please contact them now at www.handsnpaws@outlook.com.
Each of our animals are microchipped, up to date on their vaccines, dewormed, and flea treated. If it is age appropriate, they are spayed or neutered and given their rabies. Unless it is otherwise noted in their medical history, our cats are not FELV/FIV tested. This may be done at the request of an adopter and at their expense. The adoption fee of each of our animals is listed underneath their pictures on their biography page.
If you would like more information, please click on the adopt button and fill out the Adoption form and that will be forwarded to the foster home so you can speak with them about the pet.
Our adoptions are done on a first come first service basis unless a hold is placed on the pet(s). The hold is for up to 7 days and may be done when the Adoption Contract is submitted. You may place a hold by paying the Hold Fee of $25 per pet. The Hold Fee of $25 is Non-Refundable and will be in addition to the Adoption Fee. You may instead pay the full Adoption Fee which will also hold the pet(s). After 7 days, if the pet(s) have not been picked up, any fees paid will be forfeited and will be considered a donation to Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance.
