My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a foster to adopt home. A secure fence is a requirement and experience with scared dogs.

Charlie is from a hoarding case of over 30 small dogs. He is a cute little guy. He currently does not want to be touched yet by people but is flirty. He will take treats from you and comes close to you but isn't a fan of being handled yet.

He loves playing with the other dogs in the home. He knows how to use the doggie door. He will require a fenced yard. You will not be able to leash him or pick him up for a while until you have worked with him.

Charlie is a work in progress. If you are interested in working with this type of dog, Charlie has a lot of potential. He will need patients and training.

We are looking for a foster to adopt home for Charlie. Someone who is willing to work with him.

Apply at www.campcompanion.org to foster to adopt Charlie.
Email Lori@campcompanion.org if you have questions about him.
Adoption fee is $300 plus tax

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
