Hello, my name is Leo! My birthday is 6/18/22. I am an English Pointer. I came to Richardson rescue because my owner died and there was no one to take care of me and my siblings. I need help with general training and house manners as I probably have not lived inside yet. I am working on leash training. I have unusual and very handsome markings and am an affectionate boy that likes to play with my brother. I take treats gently and am learning to play with toys. I am up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, neutered, Microchipped, and ready to learn and be in my new home. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
