My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blade is a happy little nugget who is roughly 1 years old. Blade is neutered and up to date on age approciate vaccines. He gets along with other dogs, and enjoys meeting new people. Per his previous owners he got along with little kids, however we do not child test our dogs in the shelter so we would need to have Blade meet all family members in the home before adoption. This may be done where the pet is located, please read Story it will list location or applications are on our website.

Owned a pet in the past, please list veterinarian pet went to.

Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Additional adoption info

During COVID, we are asking people interested in a dog to fill out an application at our website, once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills or a PetCo in Roseville. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: www.macsshelter.org/dog-application/. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.
