Our family got Addie in October 2022. She came from a foster care/rescue her. She had been with the foster for about 5 months, she was just over a year old. She has done well and has learned to "be a dog" from our older German Shepherd; she plays with her, shares food and toys. She also did well with other dogs in puppy training class. We think Addie is part German Sheperd/part Grey Hound.
She loves and needs to run, to leap outside. We put her on a 50 feet in the backyard for her to explore, she also tends to bark at people walking by with and without their dogs. She's good guard dog but also impulsive at times. She has grown and matured so much! She now comes when called- even when off leash at the big park/woods when monitored. She can sit, is crate trained (she loves her crate- her protected & private space) and is potty trained. However, she has nipped others- particularly younger children. She does so well with adults and our teenage kids. We have to rehome her because of that
