I have had Cato since he was 3 months and we've lived in 4 different states. He is neutered and recently turned 14 years old. He enjoys cuddles, walks, treats, and braided chew sticks. Due to having to work two jobs 7 days a week with no days off, I can no longer provide him with the love, exercise, and attention he needs. Despite his age, he is still playful but shows signs of hearing and vision loss, but I would not declare him deaf or blind. He chews on blankets and dog beds out of boredom and or separation anxiety. He has a sensitive stomach and allergies to certain grass/trees. Cato is trained to use a doggy door and crate trained. I want the best for him but feel unable to provide that in his last years and the thought of him being put down if I surrender him is just heartbreaking, knowing he still has life to live and love to give.
