If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Spencer is a very loving, gentle, adventurous, and nosy doggie. He loves to run and play with all other doggies with his tail wagging high. He is also a snuggle up dog and loves lots of cuddles and belly scratches. He really is a sweetie. He absolutely adores children and is docile and calm with them as well as with adults. Please note that Spencer LOVES squirrels and will definitely let you know if one is close by. When he spots a squirrel, he will pull on the leash and he gets extremely excited, otherwise he just loves to take his time to sniff every single leaf. Also, he will dart out your open doors. Both my husband and I work full time jobs and we feel and must admit that Spencer needs more time and attention than what we can offer. It is of the utmost importance to us that he be adopted by a nurturing family and can have room to run.
