Schmit is a four month old tri-color pup with a wonderfully endearing and funny personality. He is a social guy with a love for people and other dogs. He is currently 40 pounds and is bound to continue to grow, likely becoming large in size (60-80 pounds fully grown). It seems that this litter was loved by the family who had them before their arrival to Plumas County Animal Services. They happily met us in their kennels with full body wiggles and smiles and have been silly little pups. We feel that they will fit into a variety of homes and make their families very happy. They are dog friendly and intelligent which will help as they learn basic obedience. We have them listed as Hound mixes. Please fill out our online application at highsierraanimalrescue.org to make an appointment to meet one or a few of these squishy, lovable pups! Please no "drop-ins" to view dogs without an appointment. All High Sierra Animal Rescue dogs are up-to-date on age appropriate shots, micro-chipped, tested for heart worm, given heart worm preventative medication each month, and de-wormed. These pups have not yet been altered but our staff will discuss details at the time of adoption.
