Thanks for your interest in the adoptable rats here at Lollypop Farm. Whether these will be your first rats or you're an experienced rat owner, we look forward to helping you add some new friends to your family.

Rats are very loving. They form strong bonds with each other and with their people. Once your rats get to know you, they'll run to greet you at the front of the cage and ask for snuggle time. In fact, they're excellent communicators, with plenty of cute sounds and expressions to tell you what they're thinking.

They're also extremely smart. They're curious about everything and very playful. You can have lots of fun teaching them to do tricks for treats.

Rats are extremely clean, grooming themselves to keep their fur soft and nice. In fact, softness is their thing. They love soft beds and hammocks, and soft towels or bedding under their feet.

Rats naturally live in colonies, so they do best in groups of two or more, but we do sometimes have adoptable rats who are happier on their own. We'd love to have you visit so our adoption counselors and small animal staff can help you find the perfect rats to take home.
