What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Maxine is a 4 1/2 year old sheepadoodle. We got her in May of 2020 from her original breeder. She needed to be placed quickly as her breeder was having health issues. She is a very smart, willing to please dog who needs to be in a home with no other dogs, and with someone who can give her the attention she needs to become an excellent companion.
It is a very difficult decision to rehome Maxine, but I am doing this for several reasons. First I am traveling a lot and just do not have the time to work with her as I should. Secondly, she and our other dog are increasingly fighting. While our two dogs have never bonded with each other, resource guarding has become worse and worse with Maxine. As I mentioned I am not able to spend the time I should with her to work on this issue. Maxine is a beautiful doodle with so much potential. We are really hoping to find her a forever home in which she can be loved and attended to as she deserves.
