My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet...Kfir!

My favorite thing to do is run and play! I LOVE to chase bells and strings. Springs are cool to throw and fetch too.

What makes me special is I'm a little scaredy cat. I jump with loud noises, but I sure love to play! I'd love to have a confident cat friend in my forever home, I feel safe when there's a bigger friend to show me the way- and I love to play.

I want my new owner to know I'm a little timid at first, I trust other animals more than big scary people. I'll probably take a minute before I'm comfortable around new people and a new place. I love to run and play - I chase the red laser for days! Balls and springs are my favorite toys, food is a close second. I'll warm up and get cuddly when I'm tired- but I don't love to be hugged on or smothered so much. I'm fun, playful and entertaining. The zoomies come, and I can't be stopped!

When I am feeling playful I like to... Red laser chase, the ball spinner, feathers and just plain old boxes are all fun. I most enjoy playing jump scare with the other cats in my foster's home. I'm small and stealthy, and I love to play- even when they are wanting to nap ;) When it is time to rest I sleep I love tipitty top of the cat tree, snuggled up to a warm friend. If not, the back of the couch or even the dogs bed works.

I am good with Cats and I have no experience around dogs

By nature I am...Playful, Shy, Curious.

More about this rescue

AZ Center for Animal Rescue and Education (AZ CARE) is a non-profit all breed dog and cat rescue in Arizona. We are dedicated to reducing the euthanasia rate in our state through education, spay/neuter programs and adoption events. Our network of foster homes provide a safe haven for dogs/cats while they wait for their forever homes. Our education programs will include youth programs to get the next generation involved in the pet overpopulation epidemic and strive to find a way to end the suffering in our shelters, state and nation wide.
