Meet CJ (Clarance James)!
This absolutely adorable 8 year old, 22lb boy is such a perfect companion (see his video!). He walks well on a leash, great with dogs and people, and loves to give kisses and snuggles. He is a sensitive guy that came from a sad situation but has been a welcome member of the pack since we rescued him from a local shelter. We will be sad to see him go but are looking for a perfect loving home that has time to spend with CJ for the rest of his life. He really just wants to be near you and be loved. He sleeps well in a crate at night and has such a fun personality. He could be with other dogs or the only one in the home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for his forever home. More about this rescue

On The Road To Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Simply put, our mission is to save lives. With local partnerships, we work with city shelters and rescue groups to save dogs that need rescue help. All the dogs are fostered in a home environment so they are able to decompress and get ready for a family of their own. Often times, they will be fostered with other dogs in the home so they are able to get socialization up until the time they find their forever home. We will keep the dog safe and loved as long as it takes until their forever home finds them. Check out dogs waiting for their forever home
