Dog's Name: Magnum (MAG0424KUWMN)
Estimated Breed: Kangal Shepherd Dog MIX
Approximate Age: 1.5 - 2 years
Approximate Weight: 60 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Magnum is a young, friendly, and playful soul who came to us all the way from Kuwait. His mom was rescued and delivered Magnum and his siblings at a pet hotel. Magnum’s siblings have found homes in the US and he is now waiting to find his. His sweet disposition and unwavering loyalty make him a perfect companion. Magnum's energy is just right - not too high, not too low, but enough to keep you entertained and active. He's well-behaved too! Magnum is house and crate trained, but may need a little time to adapt to a new situation. He knows how to walk on leash and rides well in the car, making him an excellent travel buddy. His friendliness extends to everyone, making him a wonderful addition to most any household. He would prefer a home with a yard and maybe even a canine playmate to keep him company. Magnum hopes to find his forever family soon. Fill out an application today and give this handsome boy a chance at the happy life he deserves!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
